Relationships can be like a Tug-of-War - 3 Ways to Repair Broken Relationships

Listen – we know your company is really good at what you do. Otherwise you wouldn’t be still in business and looking for affordable ways to market your business.

But you’re not as good at digital marketing as we are. We promise. And we’re not talking about just providing email marketing or social media marketing. KAZ Communications Network is the best in the country at developing affordable comprehensive marketing campaigns that engage all of your customers and future customers fast. And we want to work for your team.

You know in your heart you could grow faster if coming up with creative marketing campaigns were not slowing you down. Isn’t that what’s keeping you up at night how to keep your loyal customers and increase your sales especially during seasonal down times? And isn’t that why you’re here?
Many email marketing blogs, seminars, presenters (including me) tells you that email marketing is an “engagement tool”.  What does that mean really?  It’s actually the best way to turn your existing customers into VIP Loyal Customers.
3 Ways to Repair Broken Relationships:
Secrets to Successful Email Marketing Campaigns
   1. Begin Basic Communication – What type of communication are you most comfortable with? What makes you feel safe? No matter how you choose to initiate, remember fear is normal. Start with a “Welcome” email campaign. Maybe call and leave a message when they’re not likely to pick up or text them. Whatever the case, initial communication can look different for each of us. Above all, be sure to clarify your goals for contacting them upfront. Describe what that might look like – “I’d like to invite you to be one of our Loyal VIP Customers” or “I’d like for us to meet over coffee once per month”. Note: This could be a monthly event at your store or office.  Keep the message brief, not providing too many details but remain committed and ready for this new season of increased sales.

   2. Pace Yourself – The process of restoration is a marathon not a sprint. It takes a while to rebuild  relationships. Start slow. Be brave. Prepare yourself for the fact a customer may not even reciprocate. They may not be ready. Respect their choices, too. They may not be ready to buy your products – and that’s okay. Know that your ability to reach out is enough. Remember, your overall sales does not depend on one person’s willingness to purchase your products today, but it may be tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year.  Be patient.

   3. Be Consistent – It amazes me how many of us underestimate the power of being consistent. It does not mean you delete contacts from your email messages because you don’t see where they opened your email, but it does mean you allow yourself to build trust by remaining consistent with your commitments. It reminds me of this positive thought.

Meet your customers where they are…
Got to give the people what they want.”
